Context of Zechariah 14:7
5And ye shall flee [by] the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: ye shall even flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. And Jehovah my God shall come, [and] all the holy ones with thee. 6And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] there shall not be light; the shining shall be obscured. And it shall be one day which is known to Jehovah, not day, and not night; and it shall come to pass, at eventide it shall be light. 8And it shall come to pass in that day [that] living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9And Jehovah shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Jehovah, and his name one.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 7At evening time it shall be light - At the close of this awful visitation, there shall be light. The light of the glorious Gospel shall go forth from Jerusalem; and next, from the Roman empire to every part of the earth.Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 7And it shall be one day: it shall be known unto the Lord: not day, and not night; and at the eventide it shall be light - “One” special “day; one,” unlike all beside; known unto God, and to Him alone. For God alone knows the day of the consummation of all things, as He saith, “Of that day and that hour knoweth no one, neither the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, (so as to reveal it) but the Father only” Mark 13:32. Neither wholly “day,” because overclouded…Read the comment
