Genesis 8:7

7And he sent out the raven, which went forth going to and fro, until the waters were dried from the earth.

Genesis 8:7 in other versions

Context of Genesis 8:7

5And the waters abated continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen. 6And it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. And he sent out the raven, which went forth going to and fro, until the waters were dried from the earth. 8And he sent out the dove from him, to see if the waters had become low on the ground. 9But the dove found no resting-place for the sole of her foot, and returned to him into the ark; for the waters were on the whole earth; and he put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ark.
