Context of Job 33:11

He puts my feet in the stocks; He watches over all my paths.’ 12Behold, you are not right in this matter. I will answer you, for God is greater than man. 13Why do you complain to Him that He answers nothing a man asks?

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 8-13Verses 8-13 Elihu charges Job with reflecting upon the justice and goodness of God. When we hear any thing said to God's dishonour, we ought to bear our testimony against it. Job had represented God as severe in marking what he did amiss.
