Context of Job 6:29
27You would cast lots (gamble) over the fatherless And bargain away your friend. 28Now please look at me, And see if I lie to your face [for you know that I would not]. Turn away [from your suspicion], let there be no injustice; Turn away, my righteousness and vindication is still in it. 30Is there injustice or malice on my tongue? Can my palate not discern what is destructive?

Let it not be iniquity - Let it not be considered as wrong thus to come back to the argument. Or, let it not be assumed…Read the comment
- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 14-30Verses 14-30 In his prosperity Job formed great expectations from his friends, but now was disappointed. Those who make gold their hope, sooner or later will be ashamed of it, and of their confidence in it. It is our wisdom to…Read the comment

He explains his intense words by indicating his deep "grief" or "anguish" (6:2–3; 7:11). Job states that Eliphaz has not provided comfort or sympathy as a friend. Instead, Eliphaz chose to argue about out of date religious or theological ideas.Read the comment
