Context of Job 11:14
12But a hollow (empty-headed) man will become intelligent and wise [Only] when the colt of a wild donkey is born as a man. 13“If you direct your heart [on the right path] And stretch out your hands to Him, If sin is in your hand, put it far away [from you], And do not let wrongdoing dwell in your tents; 15Then, indeed, you could lift up your face [to Him] without moral defect, And you would be firmly established and secure and not fear. 16For you would forget your trouble; You would remember it as waters that have passed by.

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 14If iniquity be in thine hand - If you have in your possession anything that has been unjustly obtained. If you have oppressed the poor and the fatherless, and have what properly belongs to them, let it be restored. This is the obvious duty of one who comes to God to implore his favor; compare Luke 19:8.Read the comment

Then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; that is, thou mayst come boldly to the throne of grace, and not with the terror and amazement expressed in ch. 9:34. If we are looked upon in the…Read the comment
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 13-14Zophar outlined three conditions for restoration (11:15): Direct your heart. This is an internal action beyond mere ceremony. Lift up your hands. This is not through sacrifice and regret, but by quitting the sin in view (compare Hebrews 11:6; James 4:8; 5:16).Read the comment
