Context of Ezekiel 28:5
3See, you are wiser than Daniel! No secret is hidden from you! 4By your wisdom and by understanding you have made wealth for yourself and have gathered gold and silver into your treasuries. In your great skill, by your trade, you have increased your wealth, so your heart is exalted by your wealth.’” 6Therefore thus says Adonai Elohim: “Because you have set up your heart like the heart of God, 7behold, I will bring strangers against you, the ruthless of the nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. They will defile your splendor.
