Context of Deuteronomy 28:26
24Adonai will make the rain of your land powder and dust—it will come down on you from the heavens, until you are destroyed. 25“Adonai will bring you to defeat before your enemies. You will go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. You will become a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. Your carcass will be food for every bird of the heavens and beast of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away. 27“Adonai will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with hemorrhoids, with scabs and with itching, from which you cannot be healed. 28“Adonai will strike you with madness, with blindness, and with confusion of heart.
