2 Samuel 24:1-4
1And againH3254 the angerH639 of the LORDH3068 was kindledH2734 against IsraelH3478, and he movedH5496 DavidH1732 against them to sayH559, GoH3212, numberH4487 IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063.
2For the kingH4428 saidH559 to JoabH3097 the captainH8269 of the hostH2428, who was with him, Go now throughH7751 all the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478, from DanH1835 even to BeershebaH884, and numberH6485 ye the peopleH5971, that I may knowH3045 the numberH4557 of the peopleH5971.1
3And JoabH3097 saidH559 to the kingH4428, Now the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 addH3254 to the peopleH5971, as many asH1992 they may be, an hundredfoldH3967H6471, and that the eyesH5869 of my lordH113 the kingH4428 may seeH7200 it : but why doth my lordH113 the kingH4428 delightH2654 in this thingH1697?
4But the king’sH4428 wordH1697 prevailedH2388 against JoabH3097, and against the captainsH8269 of the hostH2428. And JoabH3097 and the captainsH8269 of the hostH2428 went outH3318 from the presenceH6440 of the kingH4428, to numberH6485 the peopleH5971 of IsraelH3478.
