2 Chronicles 24:4-13

4And it came to pass afterH310 this, that JoashH3101 was mindedH3820 to repairH2318 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068.1

5And he gatheredH6908 the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881, and saidH559 to them, Go outH3318 to the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, and gatherH6908 from all IsraelH3478 moneyH3701 to repairH2388 the houseH1004 of your GodH430 fromH1767 yearH8141 to yearH8141, and see that ye hastenH4116 the matterH1697. But the LevitesH3881 hastenedH4116 it not.

6And the kingH4428 calledH7121 for JehoiadaH3077 the chiefH7218, and saidH559 to him, Why hast thou not requiredH1875 of the LevitesH3881 to bring inH935 out of JudahH3063 and out of JerusalemH3389 the collectionH4864, according to the commandment of MosesH4872 the servantH5650 of the LORDH3068, and of the congregationH6951 of IsraelH3478, for the tabernacleH168 of witnessH5715?

7For the sonsH1121 of AthaliahH6271, that wickedH4849 woman, had broken upH6555 the houseH1004 of GodH430; and also all the dedicated thingsH6944 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 they bestowedH6213 upon BaalimH1168.

8And at the king’sH4428 commandmentH559 they madeH6213 aH259 chestH727, and setH5414 it withoutH2351 at the gateH8179 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068.

9And they madeH5414 a proclamationH6963 through JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389, to bring inH935 to the LORDH3068 the collectionH4864 that MosesH4872 the servantH5650 of GodH430 laid upon IsraelH3478 in the wildernessH4057.2

10And all the princesH8269 and all the peopleH5971 rejoicedH8055, and brought inH935, and castH7993 into the chestH727, until they had finishedH3615.

11Now it came to pass, that at the timeH6256 the chestH727 was broughtH935 to the king’sH4428 officeH6486 by the handH3027 of the LevitesH3881, and when they sawH7200 that there was muchH7227 moneyH3701, the king’sH4428 scribeH5608 and the highH7218 priest’sH3548 officerH6496 cameH935 and emptiedH6168 the chestH727, and tookH5375 it, and carriedH7725 it to its placeH4725 againH7725. Thus they didH6213 dayH3117 by dayH3117, and assembledH622 moneyH3701 in abundanceH7230.

12And the kingH4428 and JehoiadaH3077 gaveH5414 it to such as didH6213 the workH4399 of the serviceH5656 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and hiredH7936 masonsH2672 and carpentersH2796 to repairH2318 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and also such as wroughtH2796 ironH1270 and brassH5178 to mendH2388 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068.

13So the workmenH4399H6213 wroughtH6213, and the workH4399 wasH5927 perfectedH724 by themH3027, and they setH5975 the houseH1004 of GodH430 in orderH4971, and strengthenedH553 it.3
