Revised Webster's Bible
2 Samuel 22:28-37
28And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thy eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down. 29For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.1 30For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.2 31As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a shield to all them that trust in him.3 32For who is God, except the LORD? and who is a rock, except our God? 33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.4 34He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet : and setteth me upon my high places.5 35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.6 36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.7 37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet have not slipped.8
