Context of Zechariah 14:19

17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yhwh of Armies, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yhwh will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 20In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO YHWH; and the pots in Yhwh's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto Yhwh of Armies: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of Yhwh of Armies.

• Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 19This shall be the sin of Egypt and the sin of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles - For before the coming of the Saviour, good perhaps had been in part the excuse of the pagan, that they had been called by none. For no one had preached unto them. Wherefore the Saviour also, pointing out this in the Gospel parables, said, the laborers‘ Matthew 20:7, called at the eleventh hour, said, No man hath hired us.‘ But when Christ cast His…Read the comment
• Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 16-21Verses 16-21 As it is impossible for all nations literally to come to Jerusalem once a year, to keep a feast, it is evident that a figurative meaning must here be applied. Gospel worship is represented by the keeping of the feast of tabernacles. Every day of a Christian's life is a day of the feast of tabernacles; every Lord's day especially is the great day of the feast; therefore every day let us worship the Lord of hosts, and keep every Lord's day with…Read the comment

Israel will be restored as God's people, and Jerusalem will become the center of civilization (Zechariah 14:16–17).
