Context of Psalms 89:12
10You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one who is slain; You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm. 11The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them. The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name. 13You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand. 14Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.

And to praise the Lord, is to acknowledge him to be such a one that there is none like him. Surely then we should feel and express reverence when we worship God. But how little of this appears in our congregations, and how much cause have we to humble ourselves on this account! That almighty power which smote Egypt, will scatter the enemies of the church, while all who trust in God's…Read the comment

- Jamieson–Fausset–Brown Commentary · v. 8-148-14. To illustrate His power and faithfulness examples are cited from history. At the same time, the whole frame of nature founded and sustained by Him, Tabor and Hermon for "east and west," and "north and south," together representing the whole world…Read the comment
