Context of Genesis 41:30
28This is just what I told Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do. 29Seven years of great abundance are coming throughout the whole land of Egypt. But seven years of famine will occur after them, and all the abundance will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will devastate the land. 31The previous abundance of the land will not be remembered because of the famine that follows, for the famine will be very severe. 32The dream was repeated to Pharaoh because the matter has been decreed by God, and God will make it happen soon.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 9-32Verses 9-32 God's time for the enlargement of his people is the fittest time. If the chief butler had got Joseph to be released from prison, it is probable he would have gone back to the land of the Hebrews. Then he had neither been so blessed himself, nor such a blessing to his family, as afterwards he proved. Joseph, when introduced to Pharaoh, gives honour to God.
