Context of Micah 4:6
4They will sit under their grapevines and their fig trees, and no one will make them afraid. The Lord of Armies has spoken. 5All the nations live by the names of their gods, but we will live by the name of the Lord our God forever. “When that day comes,” declares the Lord, “I will gather those who are lame. I will bring together those who are scattered and those whom I have injured. 7I will change those who are lame into a faithful people. I will change those who are forced away into a strong nation.” The Lord will rule them on Mount Zion now and forever. 8You, Jerusalem, watchtower of the flock, stronghold of the people of Zion, your former government will come back to you. The kingdom will return to the people of Jerusalem.

Commentaries on Micah 4:6
- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 6Will I assemble her that halteth - driven out - afflicted - Under these epithets, the state of the Jews, who were to be gathered into the Christian Church, is pointed out. They halted between the true God and idols; they were driven out into captivity, because of this idolatry; and they were variously afflicted, because they would not return unto the Lord that bought them.Read the comment

Hitherto he had prophesied the glory of Zion, chiefly through the coming-in of the Gentiles. Now he adds, how the Jews should, with them, be gathered by grace into the one fold, in that long last day of the Gospel, at the beginning, in the course of it, and completely at the end Romans 11:26.
