Context of Psalms 9:15
13How my enemies cause me to suffer! Please be kind to me, Lord. You are the one who can save me from death. 14Then I will praise you for everyone to hear! I will tell the people of Zion that you have saved me, and I will be very happy! Into the deep hole that they dug, the nations themselves fell. The net that they hid to catch me, caught their own feet! 16The Lord has shown us who he is. We know that he brings justice. Wicked people will catch themselves in their own traps. Higgaion. Selah. 17Justice sends the wicked people away, into the deep hole of death. This will happen to all the nations that do not respect God.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 11-20Verses 11-20 Those who believe that God is greatly to be praised, not only desire to praise him better themselves, but desire that others may join with them. There is a day coming, when it will appear that he has not forgotten the cry of the humble; neither the cry of their blood, or the cry of their prayers. We are never brought so low, so near to death, but God can raise us up. If he has saved us from spiritual and eternal death, we may thence hope…Read the comment
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 1-21This hymn celebrates the Lord's rule and triumph over evil. It may also respond to the laments in Psalms 3–7. Some believe that Psalms 9 and 10 should be read together as one psalm in two parts. This is because Psalm 9 has a title, while Psalm 10 does not. Despite some missing or inverted letters, the two psalms form an acrostic of the Hebrew alphabet. This means that each line or section begins with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
