1The Lord said to Moses, ‘Say this to Israel's people. When a boy is born, his mother is not clean for seven days. When she is bleeding each month, the rule is the same. She is not clean. 3Eight days after he is born, they must circumcise the boy. 4The woman must wait for 35 days after the boy is born. All this time she must not touch anything that is holy.
