Judges 3:7-9
7And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and forgot Jehovah their 1God, and served the Baals and the Asherahs.
8And the anger of Jehovah was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the children of Israel served Chushan-rishathaim eight years.
9And the children of Israel cried to Jehovah; and Jehovah raised up a saviour to the children of Israel, who saved them, Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.
