Context of Genesis 27:36
34When Esau heard his father’s words, he let out a loud and bitter cry and said to his father, “Bless me too, O my father!” 35But Isaac replied, “Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.” So Esau declared, “Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me twice. He took my birthright, and now he has taken my blessing.” Then he asked, “Haven’t you saved a blessing for me?” 37But Isaac answered Esau: “Look, I have made him your master and given him all his relatives as servants; I have sustained him with grain and new wine. What is left that I can do for you, my son?” 38Esau said to his father, “Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me too, O my father!” Then Esau wept aloud.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 30-40Verses 30-40 When Esau understood that Jacob had got the blessing, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry. The day is coming, when those that now make light of the blessings of the covenant, and sell their title to spiritual blessings for that which is of no value, will, in vain, ask urgently for them. Isaac, when made sensible of the deceit practised on him, trembled exceedingly. Those who follow the choice of their own affections, rather than…Read the comment
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 36he has cheated me twice (or tripped me up, or deceived me): Esau started to understand Jacob's true nature. Jacob took the birthright (the right of inheritance, Hebrew bekorah; 25:27–34). He tricked their father to get the blessing (the spoken pronouncement of the inheritance, Hebrew berakah). Esau was right in how he judged Jacob, but he did not recognize his own ungodliness in these actions (see study note on 27:5; Hebrews 12:16).Read the comment
