Context of Ezekiel 41:3
1Then the man brought me into the outer sanctuary and measured the side pillars to be six cubits wide on each side. 2The width of the entrance was ten cubits, and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on each side. He also measured the length of the outer sanctuary to be forty cubits, and the width to be twenty cubits. And he went into the inner sanctuary and measured the side pillars at the entrance to be two cubits wide. The entrance was six cubits wide, and the walls on each side were seven cubits wide. 4Then he measured the room adjacent to the inner sanctuary to be twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. And he said to me, “This is the Most Holy Place.” 5Next he measured the wall of the temple to be six cubits thick, and the width of each side room around the temple was four cubits.

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 3Went he inward - Toward the holy of holies. It is not said, “he brought me in,” but “he went in,” because the holy of holies was not to be entered even by a priest like Ezekiel, but only by the high priest once a year. So the “angel” enters and announces: the measurements. The post of the door - On either side of the entrance was a pillar, the two together making up two cubits. The first measurement of the door was from “post to post,” six cubits; and the…Read the comment
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 3-4The inner room was the Most Holy Place. It was the only square room in the temple. This room was the most sacred space in the building. A person reached it by passing through three openings. Each opening was narrower than the one before it. Access became more limited as a person moved closer to God. The entrance to the entry room was about 7.5 meters wide (24.5 feet; Ezekiel 40:48). The doorway into the sanctuary was about 5.3 meters wide (17.5 feet…Read the comment
