Context of Psalms 118:4

2Oh let Israel say, “His lovingkindness endures forever.” 3Oh let the house of Aaron say, “His lovingkindness endures forever.” Oh let those who [reverently] fear the Lord, say, “His lovingkindness endures forever.” 5Out of my distress I called on the Lord; The Lord answered me and set me free. 6The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can [mere] man do to me?
