Tree of Life Version
Nehemiah 6:3-5
3So I sent messengers to them saying, “I am doing an important work, so I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you?”
4They sent me the same message four times, and each time I returned a similar response to them.
5But the fifth time Sanballat sent his young aide to me in this way, he had an open letter in his hand.
