Context of Ezekiel 37:15
13You will know that I am Adonai, when I have opened your graves and brought you up out of your graves, My people. 14I will put My Ruach in you and you will live. I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I, Adonai, have spoken and that I have done it.” It is a declaration of Adonai. The word of Adonai came to me saying: 16“You, son of man, take one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah’—for Bnei-Yisrael joined with him. Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph’—the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel joined with him. 17Join them one to another for yourself, as one stick, so they may become one in your hand.

Let us study to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace; let us…Read the comment

- Jamieson–Fausset–Brown Commentary · v. 1-28Three stages in Israel's revival present themselves to the prophet's eye. (1) The new awakening of the people, the resurrection of the dead (Eze 37:1-14). (2) The reunion of the formerly hostile members of the community, whose contentions had affected the whole (Eze 37:15-28). (3) The community thus restored is strong enough to withstand the assault of Gog, &c. (Eze 38:1-39:29) [Ewald]. 1. carried ... in the spirit--The matters transacted, therefore, were…Read the comment
