Samuel 22:20-23

Yet one of the sons of Ahimelech son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped and fled to David.

Abiathar told David that Saul had slain Adonai’s kohanim.

Then David said to Abiathar, “I knew on that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul. I have brought about the death of all the people of your father’s house.

Stay with me, and fear not; for the one who is seeking my life is seeking your life too—but with me you will be safe.”
