Proverbs 30:11-31
11There is a generationH1755 that cursethH7043 their fatherH1, and doth not blessH1288 their motherH517. 12There is a generationH1755 that are pureH2889 in their own eyesH5869, and yet are not washedH7364 from their filthinessH6675. 13There is a generationH1755, O how loftyH7311 are their eyesH5869! and their eyelidsH6079 are lifted upH5375. 14There is a generationH1755, whose teethH8127 are as swordsH2719, and their jaw teethH4973 as knivesH3979, to devourH398 the poorH6041 from off the earthH776, and the needyH34 from among menH120.
15The horseleachH5936 hath twoH8147 daughtersH1323, crying, GiveH3051, giveH3051. There are threeH7969 things that are never satisfiedH7646, yea, fourH702 things sayH559 not, It is enoughH1952:1 16The graveH7585; and the barrenH6115 wombH7356; the earthH776 that is not filledH7646 with waterH4325; and the fireH784 that saithH559 not, It is enoughH1952. 17The eyeH5869 that mockethH3932 at its fatherH1, and despisethH936 to obeyH3349 its motherH517, the ravensH6158 of the valleyH5158 shall pick it outH5365, and the youngH1121 eaglesH5404 shall eatH398 it.2
18There are threeH7969things which are too wonderfulH6381 for me, yea, fourH702 which I knowH3045 not: 19The wayH1870 of an eagleH5404 in the airH8064; the wayH1870 of a serpentH5175 upon a rockH6697; the wayH1870 of a shipH591 in the midstH3820 of the seaH3220; and the wayH1870 of a manH1397 with a maidH5959.3 20Such is the wayH1870 of an adulterousH5003 womanH802; she eatethH398, and wipethH4229 her mouthH6310, and saithH559, I have doneH6466 no wickednessH205. 21For threeH7969 things the earthH776 is disquietedH7264, and for fourH702 which it cannotH3201 bearH5375: 22For a servantH5650 when he reignethH4427; and a foolH5036 when he is filledH7646 with foodH3899; 23For an odiousH8130 woman when she is marriedH1166; and an handmaidH8198 that is heirH3423 to her mistressH1404.
24There are fourH702things which arelittleH6996 upon the earthH776, but they are veryH2449 wiseH2450:4 25The antsH5244 are a peopleH5971 not strongH5794, yet they prepareH3559 their foodH3899 in the summerH7019; 26The coniesH8227 are but a feebleH6099 peopleH5971, yet they makeH7760 their housesH1004 in the rocksH5553; 27The locustsH697 have no kingH4428, yet go they forthH3318 all of them by bandsH2686;5 28The spiderH8079 taketh holdH8610 with her handsH3027, and is in kingsH4428’ palacesH1964.
29There are threeH7969things which goH6806 wellH3190, yea, fourH702 are statelyH2895 in goingH3212: 30A lionH3918 which is strongestH1368 among beastsH929, and turneth not awayH7725 forH6440 any; 31A greyhoundH4975H2223; a male goatH8495 alsoH176; and a kingH4428, against whom there is no rising upH510.6
