7And the eldersH2205 of MoabH4124 and the eldersH2205 of MidianH4080 departedH3212 with the rewards of divinationH7081 in their handH3027; and they cameH935 to BalaamH1109, and spokeH1696 to him the wordsH1697 of BalakH1111. 8And he saidH559 to them, LodgeH3885 here this nightH3915, and I will bringH7725 you wordH1697 againH7725, as the LORDH3068 shall speakH1696 to me: and the princesH8269 of MoabH4124 abodeH3427 with BalaamH1109. 9And GodH430 cameH935 to BalaamH1109, and saidH559, What menH582 are these with thee? 10And BalaamH1109 saidH559 to GodH430, BalakH1111 the sonH1121 of ZipporH6834, kingH4428 of MoabH4124, hath sentH7971 to me, saying, 11Behold, there hast a peopleH5971 come outH3318 of EgyptH4714, which coverethH3680 the faceH5869 of the earthH776: comeH3212 now, curseH6895 them for me; perhaps I shall be ableH3201 to overcomeH3898 them, and drive them outH1644.1 12And GodH430 saidH559 to BalaamH1109, Thou shalt not goH3212 with them; thou shalt not curseH779 the peopleH5971: for they are blessedH1288. 13And BalaamH1109 rose upH6965 in the morningH1242, and saidH559 to the princesH8269 of BalakH1111, Go backH3212 to your landH776: for the LORDH3068 refusethH3985 to give me leaveH5414 to goH1980 with you. 14And the princesH8269 of MoabH4124 rose upH6965, and they wentH935 to BalakH1111, and saidH559, BalaamH1109 refusethH3985 to comeH1980 with us.

15And BalakH1111 sentH7971 yet againH3254 princesH8269, moreH7227, and more honourableH3513 than they. 16And they cameH935 to BalaamH1109, and saidH559 to him, Thus saithH559 BalakH1111 the sonH1121 of ZipporH6834, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinderH4513 thee from comingH1980 to me:2 17For I will promoteH3513 thee to veryH3966 greatH3513 honourH3513, and I will doH6213 whatever thou sayestH559 to me: comeH3212 therefore, I pray thee, curseH6895 this peopleH5971 for me. 18And BalaamH1109 answeredH6030 and saidH559 to the servantsH5650 of BalakH1111, If BalakH1111 would giveH5414 me his houseH1004 fullH4393 of silverH3701 and goldH2091, I could notH3201 go beyondH5674 the wordH6310 of the LORDH3068 my GodH430, to doH6213 lessH6996 or moreH1419. 19Now therefore, I pray you, tarryH3427 ye also here this nightH3915, that I may knowH3045 what the LORDH3068 will sayH1696 to me moreH3254. 20And GodH430 cameH935 to BalaamH1109 at nightH3915, and saidH559 to him, If the menH582 comeH935 to callH7121 thee, riseH6965, and goH3212 with them; but yetH389 the wordH1697 which I shall sayH1696 to thee, that shalt thou performH6213. 21And BalaamH1109 roseH6965 in the morningH1242, and saddledH2280 his donkeyH860, and wentH3212 with the princesH8269 of MoabH4124.
