Nehemiah 6:6-13
6In which was writtenH3789, It is reportedH8085 among the heathenH1471, and GashmuH1654 saithH559 it, that thou and the JewsH3064 thinkH2803 to rebelH4775: for which causeH3651 thou buildestH1129 the wallH2346, that thou mayest beH1933 their kingH4428, according to these wordsH1697.1 7And thou hast also appointedH5975 prophetsH5030 to proclaimH7121 concerning thee at JerusalemH3389, sayingH559, There is a kingH4428 in JudahH3063: and now shall it be reportedH8085 to the kingH4428 according to these wordsH1697. ComeH3212 now therefore, and let us take counselH3289 togetherH3162. 8Then I sentH7971 to him, sayingH559, There areH1961 no such thingsH1697 doneH1961 as thou sayestH559, but thou maketh upH908 them out of thy own heartH3820. 9For they all made us afraidH3372, sayingH559, Their handsH3027 shall be weakenedH7503 from the workH4399, that it may not be doneH6213. Now therefore, O God, strengthenH2388 my handsH3027.
10Afterward I cameH935 to the houseH1004 of ShemaiahH8098 the sonH1121 of DelaiahH1806 the sonH1121 of MehetabeelH4105, who was shut upH6113; and he saidH559, Let us meet togetherH3259 in the houseH1004 of GodH430, withinH8432 the templeH1964, and let us shutH5462 the doorsH1817 of the templeH1964: for they will comeH935 to slayH2026 thee; yea, in the nightH3915 will they comeH935 to slayH2026 thee. 11And I saidH559, Should suchH3644 a manH376 as I fleeH1272? and who is there, that, being as I am, would goH935 into the templeH1964 to save his lifeH2425? I will not go inH935. 12And, lo, I perceivedH5234 that GodH430 had not sentH7971 him; but that he pronouncedH1696 this prophecyH5016 against me: for TobiahH2900 and SanballatH5571 had hiredH7936 him. 13Therefore was he hiredH7936, that I should be afraidH3372, and do soH6213, and sinH2398, and that they might have matter for a badH7451 reportH8034, that they might reproachH2778 me.
