Ezra 1:1-5

1Now in the firstH259 yearH8141 of CyrusH3566 kingH4428 of PersiaH6539, that the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 by the mouthH6310 of JeremiahH3414 might be fulfilledH3615, the LORDH3068 stirred upH5782 the spiritH7307 of CyrusH3566 kingH4428 of PersiaH6539, that he made a proclamationH5674H6963 throughout all his kingdomH4438, and put it also in writingH4385, sayingH559,1 2Thus saithH559 CyrusH3566 kingH4428 of PersiaH6539, The LORDH3068 GodH430 of heavenH8064 hath givenH5414 me all the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776; and he hath chargedH6485 me to buildH1129 him an houseH1004 at JerusalemH3389, which is in JudahH3063. 3Who is there among you of all his peopleH5971? his GodH430 be with him, and let him go upH5927 to JerusalemH3389, which is in JudahH3063, and buildH1129 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478, (he is the GodH430,) who is in JerusalemH3389. 4And whoever remainethH7604 in any placeH4725 where he sojournethH1481, let the menH582 of his placeH4725 helpH5375 him with silverH3701, and with goldH2091, and with goodsH7399, and with beastsH929, besides the freewill offeringH5071 for the houseH1004 of GodH430 that is in JerusalemH3389.2

5Then aroseH6965 the headsH7218 of the fathersH1 of JudahH3063 and BenjaminH1144, and the priestsH3548, and the LevitesH3881, with all them whose spiritH7307 GodH430 had raisedH5782, to go upH5927 to buildH1129 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 which is in JerusalemH3389.
