Chronicles 21:5-9
JehoramH3088 was thirtyH7970 and twoH8147 yearsH8141 oldH1121 when he began to reignH4427, and he reignedH4427 eightH8083 yearsH8141 in JerusalemH3389.
And he walkedH3212 in the wayH1870 of the kingsH4428 of IsraelH3478, as didH6213 the houseH1004 of AhabH256: for he had the daughterH1323 of AhabH256 for a wifeH802: and he wroughtH6213 that which was evilH7451 in the eyesH5869 of the LORDH3068.
Yet the LORDH3068 wouldH14 not destroyH7843 the houseH1004 of DavidH1732, because of the covenantH1285 that he had madeH3772 with DavidH1732, and as he promisedH559 to giveH5414 a lightH5216 to him and to his sonsH1121 for everH3117.1
In his daysH3117 the EdomitesH123 revoltedH6586 from under the dominionH3027 of JudahH3063, and madeH4427 themselves a kingH4428.2
Then JehoramH3088 went forthH5674 with his princesH8269, and all his chariotsH7393 with him: and he roseH6965 by nightH3915, and smoteH5221 the EdomitesH123 who surrounded himH5437, and the captainsH8269 of the chariotsH7393.
