Matthew 27:15-18
15Now at that feast the custom of the governor was to release to the people a prisoner, whom they would. 16And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. 17Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said to them, Whom will ye that I release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ? 18For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
