God’s Word Translation
John 6:67-71
67So Jesus asked the twelve apostles, “Do you want to leave me too?”
68Simon Peter answered Jesus, “Lord, to what person could we go? Your words give eternal life.
69Besides, we believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”
70Jesus replied, “I chose all twelve of you. Yet, one of you is a devil.”
71Jesus meant Judas, son of Simon Iscariot. Judas, who was one of the twelve apostles, would later betray Jesus.
