Context of Psalms 13:4
2How long will I store up anxious concerns within me, agony in my mind every day? How long will my enemy dominate me? 3Consider me and answer, Lord my God. Restore brightness to my eyes; otherwise, I will sleep in death. My enemy will say, “I have triumphed over him,” and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken. 5But I have trusted in your faithful love; my heart will rejoice in your deliverance. 6I will sing to the Lord because he has treated me generously.

None so ready then to tell the poor soul how deeply, disgracefully, and ungratefully it has sinned! Reader, take heed. When I am moved - When moved from my steadfastness and overcome by sin. O what desolation is made by the fall of a righteous soul! Itself…Read the comment
