Amplified Bible
Leviticus 23:5-11
5The Lord’s Passover is on the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight.
6The Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord is on the fifteenth day of the same month; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
7On the first day you shall have a holy convocation (calling together); you shall not do any laborious work [on that day].
8But you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord for seven days; on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work [on that day].’ ”
9Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
10“Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am giving you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest.
11He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord so that you may be accepted; the priest shall wave it on the day after the Sabbath.
