Methuselah died the same year as the flood. Deep etymological study of his name reveals a meaning similar to "When he dies, it shall come," lending credence to his father Enoch's status as a prophet. He was the son of Enoch and grandfather of Noah.

Methuselah
Methuselah lived during the time of the building of the ark and it is believed by some Biblical scholars that he and his family may have helped Noah in the construction of it.
