Hanan

Hanan is mentioned in 1 Chronicles 8:38 and 9:44 as one of the sons of Azel, a descendant of King Saul from the tribe of Benjamin. He is listed in the genealogy of Saul's family, which is recorded in the book of 1 Chronicles. The genealogies in 1 Chronicles provide a record of the families and clans within each of the Israelite tribes, highlighting their lineage and descent from notable figures such as King Saul. The mention of Hanan in this genealogy serves to demonstrate the continuity of Saul's lineage and to provide a historical record of his descendants.
