Abdon

Abdon is listed in 1 Chronicles 8:23 as one of the sons of Shashak, a descendant of Benjamin. He is mentioned in the genealogical record of the tribe of Benjamin, which is given in the early chapters of 1 Chronicles. The genealogy traces the lineage of King Saul, who was from the tribe of Benjamin. Abdon's mention in this context suggests that he was part of the extended family of Saul, although his exact relationship to the king is not specified.
