Who is this

Abaddon is a Hebrew word that appears several times in the Old Testament, typically referring to the realm of the dead or the place of destruction. It is often used in poetic and wisdom literature to describe the fate of the wicked or the depths of despair. In Job, Abaddon is mentioned alongside Sheol, the grave, as a place that is open before God and from which nothing can be hidden (Job.26.6; 28:22). The psalmist cries out to God, asking if His lovingkindness and faithfulness will be declared in Abaddon (Psa.88.11). In Proverbs, Abaddon is personified along with Sheol, never satisfied and always craving more (Pro.15.11; 27:20). The term Abaddon emphasizes the destructive nature of death and the hopelessness of those who are separated from God.
